Join us in Westbury, and park near the Church of the Advent – south side of Jericho turnpike near Westbury High School. We usually park on Canterbury Street near the corner of Advent Street. We will travel to the north shore on familiar roads, cruising at 20 mph on the flat roads. We will likely average between 17 and 18 mph. We are planning to take a coffee / bathroom break and aiming to be back by 12;30. Let’s leave Bethpage library and head north on familiar roads to Oyster Bay. From OB we’ll continue north over the bridge and then east to CI. We’ll regroup at the usual dead-end and then head west to the Bayville Amusement park area. From there we’ll likely start heading back, aiming to get a little over 40 miles. We can decide tomorrow if we want to stretch the route a bit. We’ll follow a route similar to the one I posted but may deviate a bit, especially on the way back to Bethpage.
