Tour of the Hamptons 2026

Tour of the Hamptons 2026

We have been closely monitoring the latest information regarding the approaching Nor’easter and the poor weather conditions expected throughout the region. After carefully considering the forecast and what these conditions could mean for our event, we have determined that we cannot safely conduct the Tour of the Hamptons.

This is an especially difficult decision for all of us. We know the time, training, preparation, and anticipation that goes into getting ready for an event like this. We also know that many of you have made travel arrangements and other plans to be with us on Sunday. We were looking forward to welcoming you and sharing what we believe is one of the most enjoyable cycling events on Long Island.

But ultimately, the safety of our riders is first and foremost and takes precedence over all other considerations. The potential for significant rain, strong winds and gusts, and hazardous road conditions creates unnecessary risks for riders participating in any of the Tour of the Hamptons routes, as well as for our volunteers, ride leaders, and support teams.

We simply cannot put people’s safety at risk.

We know this news is disappointing. It is disappointing to us as well. A tremendous amount of work has gone into preparing for this year’s Tour of the Hamptons, and we were genuinely looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday. But after carefully weighing all of the circumstances, we believe canceling the event is the responsible decision.

Refunds

We will work to issue a full refund to your original form of payment, less any applicable BikeReg fees.

Please be patient with us as we work through the refund process. Refunds may take up to two weeks to complete. We appreciate your understanding while we make sure every registered rider is properly processed.

On behalf of the Massapequa Park Bicycle Club and everyone who has worked so hard to make the Tour of the Hamptons happen, I want to personally thank you for registering, for supporting the event, and for putting your trust in us.

We are truly sorry that we won’t be riding together this Sunday. But when it comes to our cycling community, nothing is more important than getting everyone home safely.

We hope to see you back on the roads with us soon and under much better skies.

The TOH Jersey Shop is now closed, as we can no longer guarantee shipping in time for the Tour of the Hamptons.

There will be a limited number of jerseys for sale on ride day, and you can place an order in the shop that day if we don’t have your size available.

Produced by new partner Castelli, the 2026 TOH Jersey design salutes the 250th Anniversary of the United States.

This year’s jersey comes in one of the following fits:

Strada Jersey (Club Fit) – $79 – Men:  XXS – 4XL | Women:  XXS-4XL

Competizione (Race Fit) – $89 – Men:  XXS – 4XL | Women:  XXS-3XL

Download the Town of Southampton Waiver. You must bring the signed and notarized waiver with you to the ride.
