Borella Field to Caumsett State Park
:Let’s leave Borella at 9:15 sharp and head north through Cold Spring Harbor and stopping at Caumsett Park for a bathroom break. We will likely do at least 2 laps in the park to add some miles. The distance between Borella and Caumsett is only about 14 miles so we will be looking for places to add miles to get us at least to 40 miles and perhaps to 50 miles.
Returning from Caumsett we may ride beyond Plainview and head south going around the Bethpage SP golf coarse.
We will follow a route similar, but NOT identical to the one I posted.
We will cruise in the high teens and low 20s and regroup as needed.
Bring a snack and water.
