MPBC Ride Leaders post official club rides to this calendar on a weekly basis throughout the year. To sign up for a ride, please provide the leader your mobile number and emergency contact using the email and/or phone number listed in the posting. Riders must be MPBC club members to attend a posted or a Show & Go ride but we are allowing one free ride for potential members. If you would like to join MBPC you can do so by using our online form found here.
Typical rides are held (Tue/Thu/Sat/Sun & Holidays) at 8:30 am in the warmer months and 9 am in the cooler months. Ride times do vary, so please check our ride calendar for actual start times.
AA Ancient MarinerMontauk / Montauk Lighthouse 117 miles r/t |

Date: June 15, 2024 @7:00 AM Start: Massapequa Park LIRR Station Leader: Ivan Prafder Email: ivanp65@yahoo.com Phone: 5164297442 Route Link: No route link for this ride |
| Notes: This ride requires pre-registration at Massparkbikeclub.org. Please arrive early to the Massapequa Park train station as you will need time to check in. The ride will depart promptly at 7AM. Anyone choosing not to ride to the lighthouse can cut the ride short and finish in the town of Montauk thus reducing overall distance by 11 miles and 500 feet of elevation. While this group is targeting an AA pace, the wind direction and wind strength on ride day will impact the speed of the ride. We will take a brief break at each rest stop. Please bring spare tubes and CO2 cartridges. If you’re running on tubeless tires, freshening the fluid pre-ride is suggested. |
